The conflict takes place in darfur, sudan. The conflict started in 2003 and ended in 2009. The major parties were president Omar Al-Bashir, the Janjaweed, the Sudanese military and civilians.The conflict started when a rebel group attacked government targets. Three of the causes for this conflict are religion, politics, and economic statues. There has been an estimated 300,000 people murdered and killed and about 250,000 people were left homeless. It affected other countries because there are so many refuges that are being transported all around the world. two thing that have been done to solvethis conflict are Omar Al-Bashir was arrested and charged with human rights crimes and they signed a peace agreement. Two things that could be done are make homes and provide food for the homeless and hungry. Somethings that ben has participated in are fundraisers and a program "you can change the world it just takes cents." One thing thats they did was for every $50 dollars raised we freed one male slave from Darfur. They freed around 5-6 male slaves. Woman couldnt be freed from slavery. Most woman were raped and killed at a very young age.
